Often when we see stories of immigrants it’s after they have arrived. However, with the Tides Between, we see the story of the crossing through the eyes of Birdie. A young girl from England she doesn’t just have the Atlantic crossing to overcome but family secrets too.
It’s multi-layered rich with the history and magic it’s a compelling story full of heart. And that cover, how can you not love that cover?
As I mentioned this story takes place on a ship during a crossing from England to Australia. It’s so refreshing to see a story that takes place during this, there is so much drama and magic about the time at sea and Elizabeth Jane Corbett does an excellent job at capturing it.
