“Are souls destined to love or hate the same souls again and again? Or can we achieve some kind of resolution or enlightenment?”
I am so happy to be a part of the Memory Painter Book Tour. I intended to post sooner in the day but that would have required me putting the book down, which is impossible. The quote above summarizes the premise of the book perfectly. Are we destined to meet the same souls over and over again? Is it an endless cycle or do we grow with every lifetime? If so does that mean we have reached enlightenment? This book is part time travel, part romance, and full on suspense. All together this book is thrilling romp through history and present day.
In this book Linz and Bryan seek to find the answers to those very questions. This book is a thrilling summer joy ride. Bryan is a painter who is plagued by memories of his past lives. On a chance encounter he meets Linz, a woman he is inexplicably drawn to. As it turns out she is the missing piece that he needs to solve the puzzle that is his life. I really loved the chemistry between Linz and Bryan. As a reader you find yourself rooting for them from the very beginning and in some cases yelling at them through the book. Needless to say, this was me during my lunch break:
At various points during the book I audibly gasped. Womack did a fine job of building the mystery. For every question that was answered two more came up. This book is a fantastic read that I highly recommend.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I am about 100 pages shy of finishing and probably won’t be sleeping until I do…
